«When I was a kid, I always visited the Burlington Arcade on my trips to London. I loved its majesty - how this corner of luxury was set within the most beautiful historic architecture. So when I was given the opportunity to open my own boutique, there was no doubt about where I wanted it to be. Then came the challenge: How to create the boutique's fragrance? I realized that the characters who visit it are the ones who have always shaped it and made it what it is. On the one hand, I thought about our customers: I wanted 51 to have the air of the charming women who shop with us, so I combined a luxurious bouquet with the delectable Vanilla and Kashmir Wood. On the other hand, I thought how Arcade has a playful, sexy vibe, so I took it literally and added hints of Fruit and Spice.
