Dolce Acqua EdP - Profumum Roma

If you are familiar with the Profumum line, you may have noticed that they often include a bit of a journey. We generally start where they begin, but this time we'll start where Dolce Acqua ends: a room where cookies are baked all day long. Vanilla, almond and coconut in a warm mix combined with powdered sugar and a touch of cherry that we associate with the sunflower. There's also something cool in the mix that we can't quite figure out what it is - like balsamic and airy. There's a nostalgic quality - a hint of beloved childhood sweets that melt on the tongue. Tasting it across three generations, each recalled a different favorite treat - so we can't say it feels like a special treat so much as it evokes memories of someone baking your favorite treat for you. So if you end up with a dreamy almond and vanilla freshness that envelops and soothes, where do you start? With a vibrant caramel-like vanilla with a strong sense of almond, which then takes an exciting detour into something mysterious reminiscent of beeswax, before arriving at its soft and comforting destination.
