40 Knots opens with the sea breeze, the warmth of the sun and is cooled by the surface of the salt water. Salt flows throughout the drydown, which becomes darker, woodier and richer with emerging notes of coffee, cedar and clove. The clean green and salty start softens to reveal a woody, slightly herbal heart.
