One of Xerjoff's hallmarks is its astonishing ability to harmonise the most extreme contrasts - sparkling aquatic top notes in perfect balance with deeper, darker bases - like the sea itself with a sparkling surface and a bottomless depth.<\/p>\n

40 Knots opens with the sea breeze, the warmth of the sun and is cooled by the surface of the salt water. Salt flows throughout the drydown, which becomes darker, woodier and richer with emerging notes of coffee, cedar and clove. The clean green and salty start softens to reveal a woody, slightly herbal heart.<\/p>\n
